A large number of nutrients and fatty acids in coconut milk soaps offer intense hydration for dry, dull, and lifeless skin. 

Recently it was discovered that one of the greatest health benefits of coconut milk is precisely a large number of antioxidants it has, such as vitamins E and C, which in addition to enriching the skin, progressively reduce free radicals that are often harmful to the body also can prevent oxidative damage that is caused by them.

Made with charcoal for its extra deep cleansing properties as well as lavender and sage essential oils for a romantic aroma. 

Inspiration:

Thelma Todd was a Hollywood film star, socialite "it" girl and businesswomen from 1926-1935. Starring in comedies with the likes of the Marx Brothers and Bing Crosby.  

Todd opened, in partnership with Jewel Carmen and Roland West, "Thelma Todd's Sidewalk Cafe" on PCH in Malibu, CA.

On the morning of December 16, Thelma was found dead in a closed garage. She was sitting at the wheel of her convertible vehicle, which was owned by Roland West. To this day, her death is still a mystery. Check out her story here.

Key ingredients and Benefits:

Coconut milk- is found to effectively cleanse the skin without making it dry. It can also help deep cleanse your skin by removing all kinds of impurities while adding extra hydration benefits. It also has a series of micronutrients that range from selenium and zinc to iron and copper, which can take care of the general health and nutrition of the skin in depth.

Activated charcoal- Effectively removes impurities and toxins from the skin, while it helps with premature aging. Great for oily/acne prone skin.

What's in your soap:

Made with organic saponified: Olive oil, coconut oil and shea butter.  Essential Oils and coconut activated charcoal, coconut milk.

Made without synthetic fragrances, sulfates, parabens, artificial colorants, palm oil or animal derived ingredients.

How to care for your soap:

In order to take the best possible care to extend the life of your handmade soap you can use a draining soap dish that will keep the soap dry underneath. Also by keeping away from direct streams of water and allowing it to dry between uses will help preserve the life of your bar. It is normal for it so soften towards the end and get a bit mushy, disregard after.
